Right at the heart of the historic centre, Haus Püllen is one of the oldest listed buildings in Wachtendonk, dating back to the year 1634. Today it houses the Nature Park Centre of the Schwalm-Nette Nature Park, offering information, educational material and exhibits for visitors.
12 models tell the story of how the park developed, from the penultimate Ice Age until the present day, elaborating on the natural environment, culture and landscape.
Temporary exhibitions complete the picture; a slide show with accompanying soundtrack underlines the variety and unique beauty of the nature park; take a breather in the cottage garden with perennial plants, herbs and useful plants.
